WHEN WE SELL A PUPPY
We share the goals of all ethical breeders to produce healthy, happy,
English Springer Spaniels with a dependable temperment. Prior to sale, puppies have had their tails cut and the dewclaws removed
when they are 3-4 days old. At six weeks they receive their first shots and are checked by our vet. They are then kept with
their dam for another week before they go to their new home. We ask the new owner to take the puppy to their vet within two
weeks to verify the health and have the second shot.
A puppy has to make adjustments when he/she enters a new home
and welcomes routine. Direction and control are needed. We suggest crate training. It is their home and they feel secure and
safe in there.
